Trans Infopreneur provides end-to-end software localization services which can help exponentially grow your business in new language markets. We undertake all types of software localization projects which include desktop, client-server, firmware and any other types of applications. We undertake partial projects as well which includes engineering and language related tasks. We work mainly with two localization softwares – SDL Passolo 2011 Team5 edition and Alchemy Catalyst 10.0.
As we are resellers of SDL Trados and SDL Passolo, we have acquired a very high level of knowledge in these CAT tools. We can even provide workflow solutions as consultants to any client wishing to optimize their localization process.
Our company can effectively handle the localization of web applications. A web application could be a simple widget or any complex application. Our team localizes the application by providing a very quick turnaround with the translation services as well as testing the application.
Our range of services include localization of desktop applications where our team is required to provide the client with high quality translation as well as executable builds of the software tested on multiple operating systems.
We also provide localization services for firmware applications and small devices like PDA’s and mobile phones.
Our scope of work goes beyond providing you with a generic software localization process. We offer customized localization solutions to our clients depending on their requirements. Our biggest strength is our ability to understand the exact scope of the project. Our teams are capable of adapting to any situation. They are trained to follow the process as set up by the client as well as add the necessary innovation to the process. The localization of any software is not a one-time affair but involves several hundred hours of interactive testing.
Testing is a key component of the L10n process. Trans Infopreneur has its own efficient testing process which enables us to deal with all sorts of bugs –
- Linguistic Test: Linguistic verification of the running application, display of accented characters, checking of punctuations, hyphenation rules, consistency of translations, etc.
- Cosmetic (UI) Test: Focuses on all visual aspects of a localized application i.e., the user interface. Testing is done for truncated strings, overlapping controls, display of dynamic dialog boxes, duplicate hot keys etc. Testing is done both in the resource editor and for the running application.
- Functionality Test: This test focuses on the actual functionality of the localized application. Testing is done to ensure that the functionality and feature set of the localized application mirror that of the source language.
