We are an Approved Training Centre (ATC) for SDL Trados Studio 2015. We offer authorized training using training scripts and manuals provided by SDL. We offer two-day training program in different cities in India. At the end of the training, you can take up SDL certification exam free of cost. By default the two-day course would be the following:
SDL Trados Studio 2015 Getting Started Part 1: Translating
Learning Objectives: This course is designed for users who want to get familiar with SDL Trados Studio 2015 quickly and start working productively with the tool from day one –
- introduction to CAT technologies: what is a translation memory (TM), termbase, AutoSuggest dictionary
- overview of the application
- configuring the application to your personal preferences
- translating MS Office files in SDL Trados Studio making use of the most common features
- delivering the finished translation

- translators who have never used SDL Trados Studio 2015 before and want to get started with the application to be productive from day one.
SDL Trados Studio 2015 Getting Started Part 2: Working with the Supply Chain & Pre-production
Learning Objectives: This course is designed as a follow up to the SDL Trados Studio 2015 Getting Started Part 1 course and covers the following functionalities:
- working within the translation supply chain – using SDL Trados Studio to process project packages (SDL Trados Studio and SDL WorldServer packages and SDL GroupShare)
- delivering translation jobs to the supply chain
- creating TMs and termbases using legacy content (e.g. converting Excel glossaries, aligning already translated documents, and generating your own AutoSuggest dictionaries)
Target Audience: This course is for:
- translators who have already covered the SDL Trados Studio 2015 Getting Started Part I course.
Other courses can be provided on specific demand (subject to a minimum number of participants).
We also provide corporate training at client’s premises. We have trained several overseas translators when they had visited India.

- Time-limited freelance version of Trados Studio 2015 license for duration of the course. In case you do not have a Trados license, you can download the trial license on your laptop prior to attending the workshop.
